SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Remove grease, oil and contaminants — preferably with Bison Degreasing Solvent.
  • Blast clean to a minimum of Sa 2½ Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900, surface profile not exceeding 35–40 microns.
  • If blasting is not practical:
    • Use mechanical tools → manual chipping + wire brushing to remove loose rust & scale to St 2 Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900.
    • Avoid excessive burnishing of steel.
  • Thoroughly dust all surfaces.
  • Surface must be clean and dry before applying BP ROZC Primer.

APPLICATION

Mix contents thoroughly before and during use.

Brush Application

  • Apply preferably without thinning.
  • If required: add up to 5% Thinner 800 depending on conditions.

Conventional Spray

  • Add up to 10% Thinner 800.
  • Use standard spray equipment at an atomising pressure of 4.2–4.9 kg/cm².
