- Preparing the surfaces: Dry sanding, flame cutting and/or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and/or hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
- Painting: Use Trowel Tool. Apply Dulux Velvet Touch Italian Marble in the required colour in 3 coats using genuine Dulux Application Trowel tool. Apply the first coat of Dulux Velvet Touch Italian Marble ensuring uniform deposition and completely hiding the surface. Allow 6 to 8 hours for drying. Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 and Wipe clean. For the second coat, apply a thin layer of the product in a random manner so as to render the surface smooth but matt. Allow dry for 4 to 6 hours. Gently sand the surface with Emery Paper 320/400 and Wipe clean. For the Final Coat, apply a very thin layer of the product smoothening it at the same time onto the surface with the blade of the trowel. Buff to attain satin or gloss finish. Extended buffing results in higher gloss.

- Painting: Use Metallic Roller. Use Dulux Velvet Touch NY METALLICS in the required colour. Stir well and pour it onto a roller tray. Apply 2 coats using genuine Dulux Application Metallics roller over small / manageable sections ensuring minimum 4 hours drying between the coats. Ensure a slight overlap of sections while working to avoid demarcations of the finish. Repeat the above till the entire surface area is complete. Clean the Metallics roller immediately after use. Use the respective product brochure for the application procedure instructions for best results.

Stain Proof Paint
Dulux Super Clean 3 in 1 is Interior water based high quality durable emulsion paint for decoration and protection of walls and ceilings equipped with performance and protection embedded features aimed at having stain free walls.

- Preparing the surfaces: New concrete/plaster surface should be allowed to mature properly. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax etc. before application. All surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and thereafter wiped off. Suitable remedial measures should be taken in case of water seepage/leakage problems. Fungus affected areas need separate treatment.
- Painting: Brush followed by Roller. Sand the surface with Emery paper No 160 and wipe off loose particles. Apply the first coat of primer and allow it dry for 6 hours. Smoothen the surface by applying thin coats of ICI Acrylic Wall based putty to fill in all the dents, allow the putty to dry overnight. Sand the surface with emery paper no 180 and wipe clean. Apply the 2nd coat of primer and allow drying for 6-8 hrs. Sand the surface with emery paper no 380 and wipe clean.

Smoothness of Real Silk
Dulux Super Smooth is a water based, high quality durable and washable emulsion paint with a rich matt Silk finish. It is 100% acrylic based emulsion paint for walls and ceilings. It is suitable for all normal interior masonry surface including particleboard, fibre and insulation board.

- Preparing the surfaces: New concrete/plaster surface should be allowed to mature properly. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax, etc before application. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Super Smooth thinned from 400-600 ml of water for 1 litre of paint (recommended thinning for dark colours is 250 – 400 ml/lt) with 3-4 hours interval between the coats. Normally two coats of paint are sufficient for opacity and desired finish. However extra may be required in case of change in colour. Do not over dilute.
