Method of Application

• Clean the crack from any kind of laitance, grease, oils, wax, polish etc.
• Remove loose particles from joints. The edges of the cracks/joints should be neat & sound. Make sure the surface is free from puddle of water.
• Moisten the crack-surface before applying Crack Fill Paste.
• Fine hairline cracks must be widened up to 1 mm minimum followed by filling.
• For filling Crack Fill Paste on the internal surface – existing painter’s putty or POP must be removed till plaster surface is exposed.
• For porous surfaces, apply primer coat prepared with Crack Fill Paste & water in 1:1 proportion over the crack. Fill Crack Fill Paste when the surface is tacky but not dried completely.
• Press Crack Fill Paste into the cracks using a putty knife or spatula. Level the surface with a putty knife to get smooth & clean surface.
• Care must be taken to avoid formation of cavities/bubbles during application.
• Further coat of Crack Fill Paste is undertaken after 24 hours of the application, when the first coat of Crack Fill Paste is completely cured.
• Painter’s putty or POP can be taken up once it is fully dry.
• For best results allow Crack Fill Paste to cure for 7 days.

Method of Application

Surface Preparation

• Surface to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned from all kind of laitance, oils, grease etc.
• Mechanical means such as shot blasting, wire brushing can be used followed by vacuum cleaning of all loos materials. Degrease the surface by using suitable solvents
• Repair the spalled concrete section by saw, cutting the extrem edges of the repairable portion – at least to a depth of 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to afford better bonding
• Roughe the surface by light scrabbling or grit blasting
• Expose corroded rebar in the repairing area totally. Remove all loose scale & depositions followed by immediate cleaning.

Priming

• For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly washed with clean water
• Remove excess water. Make sure that the surface is damp but touch dry – before application
• Prepare the ‘primer coat’ by mixing 1 part Latex Plus with 3 parts of fresh cement. Slowly mix cement with Latex Plus to obtain a smooth consistency. Continue mixing the slurry during application to prevent settlement
• Cladding – Horizontal fixing or re-fixing of stones & marble bedding, tiles, slip bricks etc.
• For priming of exposed rebars, mix 1 part Latex Plus with (2.5–3) parts of fresh cement & apply on the substrate.

Preparation of Mortar

• Hand mixing is permissible only for 20 Kgs of the total mix weight or less quantity
• A forced action PAN mixer is recommended to prepare a homogeneous mortar mix with Latex Plus. Use a suitable sized drum with heavy duty electrical drill machine fitted with spiral paddle mixer at a speed of 400–500 rpm
• Charge the mixer with required quantity of clean, dry sand, cement & mix for 2 minutes. Mix recommended dosage of Latex Plus with half of the gauging water & add to the sand-cement mix. Mix for another 3-4 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Keep on slowly adding the rest of water until the required consistency is obtained. Don’t add extra water.

Method of Application

• The surface to be tiled should be clean & sound. Old surfaces must be free from any kind of laitance, grease, oils, wax, polish etc.
• Pour one 20 Kgs. bag in approx. 6.5 ltrs. of clean water (recommended proportion approx. 3:1 of Tile Adhesive Plus to Water). At site, addition of water shall be adjusted to attain desired consistency. Do not put water into the powder. Mix with a slow speed drill (50-100 rpm) or with a trowel until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained
• Always mix the required quantity, which can be consumed within the specified pot life maintaining the afore mentioned mixing proportion
• Spread the mixed adhesive to a thickness of approx. 3-6 mm & comb with a notched trowel. Strictly apply the adhesive paste which can be tiled within 25 to 30 minutes
• Intermittently touch the adhesive paste on substrate by finger. If the adhesive sticks to fingers then continue tiling & if not, scrape off the mix & apply new coat before further tiling
• Start placing tiles on the surface to be tiled. Tap the tiles properly to ensure complete coverage of the backside of tiles & to eliminate the possibility of any air voids
• Keep joints between two tiles using spacers that are available with Tile Adhesive Plus bag
• Allow tiling to set for 24 hours prior to filling joints
• Use mechanical clamps for holding the heavy stones in positions on vertical surface
• Before applying tiles on tiles, make sure that the original tiling surface must be scraped off to provide sufficien mechanical key for bonding.

Method of Application

• Charge cement & aggregates to the concrete mixer as per the mix design. Mix the dry ingredients for 2–3 minutes in dry condition
• Start addition of water into the mix upto 80% of the total quantity and mix for 3-4 minutes
• Cementmix Plus is to be added according to the recommended dosage into the remaining gauging water; Then add to the mixer and mix for another 2-3 minutes
• Discharge the concrete/plaster for application
• Cure the application as per good construction practices.
